Farid Bakhshiyev
Born in Baku on June 8ᵗʰ, 1977.
From 1994 to 1998, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and from 1998 to 2000, he completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the same university.
In 2003–2004, he earned a Master’s degree in Development Finance from University of Reading.
From 1998 to 2003, he worked as a Chief Economist at the Department of Foreign Economic Relations and External Debt Management of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2009–2010, he continued his professional career at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, serving as Director of the International Relations Department.
Between 2017 and 2021, he worked as Director of the Consulting Practice at KPMG Azerbaijan Limited, and from 2021 to 2026, he served as Partner at Ekvita Consulting LLC.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 30, 2025, he was appointed Director of the Monitoring Agency for State Enterprises under the Ministry of Finance.
