Senior Legal Manager (M&A)

Azerbaijan Investment Holding is announcing position of Senior Legal Manager (M&A) within its Baku Investment Office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess legal risks related to investment projects, and provide recommendations for their mitigation and management
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, memorandums of understanding, and other legal documents related to investment projects, participate in negotiations where required 
• Conduct legal review of documents related to investment projects (including letters, inquiries, etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable legislation
• Represent AIH in court proceedings and arbitration processes within the framework of its investment projects, acting both as claimant and respondent

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Commercial Law, or International Law (Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage)
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in discipline 
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (knowledge of Russian is an advantage)
• High level of accuracy and responsibility
• Strong analytical thinking and legal risk assessment skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotaiton, relationship-building and communication skills during challenging discussions
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
